API and MCP

When I get cleared up exactly where to issue PRs for the right things in the right area and branches, I am hoping to greatly improve the API docs and hopefully some API improvements. A main driver for this is AI integration. I am using Claude Code and Codex for lots of things and I want them to be able to access my Talkyard forum. Searching is a primary driver, secondary is for helping me post, reply, and admin. The API is critical for all of this. As a benefit, I am planning out an MCP server as that is the real way the AI wants to access an API. So @KajMagnus you can expect an outside project MCP server one of these days!
